Xudong Cao founded Momenta in 2016 with a vision to improve people's quality of life through better AI and has since then served as our Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Cao has over ten years of experience in the intelligent driving and related industries and was the leading co-founder of Momenta. Prior to Momenta, Mr. Cao served in multiple positions with leading organizations, including Microsoft Research Asia. Mr. Cao received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Tsinghua University in 2008.

Yan Xia has served as our director since 2016. She currently also serves as our Vice President responsible for the research and development relating to MSD, Momenta's scalable robotaxi solutions. Ms. Xia received a bachelor's degree in automation from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2010. She received a Ph.D. through the joint doctoral program between the University of Science and Technology of China and Microsoft Research Asia in 2015. Prior to joining Momenta, Ms. Yan was a researcher at Microsoft Research Asia.

Gang Sun has served as our director since 2016. He currently also serves as our Vice President responsible for the research and development of Mpilot, Momenta's mass-production intelligent driving products. Mr. Sun has extensive experience in the intelligent driving and related industries. Mr. Sun received a bachelor's degree in software engineering from Nankai University in 2009 and received a Ph.D. in computer applied technology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015.

Huan Sun has served as our director since 2016 and currently also serves as our Vice President responsible for our sales and business management. Prior to co-founding Momenta, Ms. Sun worked in the VC and startups industry in Silicon Valley. Ms. Sun received a bachelor's degree in journalism and communication from Tsinghua University in 2010 and a master’s degree in comparative media studies from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2013.

George Wang has served as our director since 2020 and currently also serves as Vice President responsible for human resources, government affairs, procurement and administration. Before joining Momenta, Mr. Wang worked at Huawei for 19 years. Mr. Wang received a bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2000 and a master's degree in business administration from Hefei University of Technology in 2007.

Gerhard Steiger has served as Momenta Europe's chairman since 2021, providing strategic leadership based on his extensive experience in the mobility and automotive sector. Before joining Momenta, Mr. Steiger worked at Robert Bosch GmbH for more than 30 years. Mr. Steiger obtained a Diploma of Economics from Freiburg University in 1985.
